@sleepinthegardn : I love to participate in elections. I love to make my voice heard and cast my ballot for the candidates and the issues I believe in. But today taking my baby girl to the polls made me feel that much more invested and proud to participate in the future of this country. I want an America that believes climate change is real and that clean energy is the solution. I want an America that supports transgender rights. I want an America that is not afraid of those seeking asylum and will keep families together. I want an America that protects its citizens, not one that shoots them down in the streets and in schools. I want an America that offers health care for everyone and does not punish the sick, the disabled and impoverished. I want an America that believes women and values their experiences, their labor and their bodies equally to those of men. I want a better America. For her and for her future. #vote #voteyourchange
