@millajovovich : Proposition 10 will give communities in Los Angeles a choice to have rent control and help stop landlords from hiking rents up to 40% at times and kicking whole families into the street. As far as facts, 47% of all those newly homeless in LA in 2017, were due to being unable to afford rent. The corporations against Prop 10 keep saying it will raise rents and stop development but that is all false. Right now so many people in South LA, Boyle Heights and Lincoln Heights just to name a few have been kicked out this way. The people living there being mostly immigrant, low wage earning families, most of them are now living in their cars while still working. So that's why I support Prop 10 a 100%. The rents are too damn high! We can do something about it and support our minority’s!
