@tonyhawk : I had the privilege of touring the world with my good friend #rayunderhill 30 years ago. Growing up as outcast skaters, everything was wild and weird to us; we didn’t truly appreciate the diversity and culture that we were so lucky to experience back then. This week, I had the privilege of traveling with his daughter Olivia (and a few of our kids) and got to see the same sense of wonder in her eyes as we journeyed around Paris during #vansparkseries. It made me thankful to come this far and still be traveling the globe all because of a wooden plank with four wheels, but mostly it made me appreciate sharing the multiplicity of Europe and informed perspectives to a younger generation. Traveling is a great form of education.... get out there if you can. 📷: me (1989 / 2019)
