@tonyhawk : My clips from the very first Bones Brigade video called “Skateboarding in the Eighties.” The year was 1981 and @peraltastacy came to Del Mar with a bulky videocamera (and a “compact” Super 8, shown here) to film some skating. I quickly realized that this was an opportunity to try tricks that I was just learning or ones that I couldn’t do consistently in competition. Very few people had VCR’s at that time so I had no idea where it would be seen, but I wanted to impress Stacy nonetheless. I had no idea that he was starting a revolution with this test project, but I felt very fortunate to that his lens would be pointed in my direction regularly for the next ten years. 🎶: Ultravox - “All Stood Still”
