@tonyhawk : I’ve watched @buckylasek constantly evolve his style over the last 30+ years, bringing some of the hardest technical tricks to the vertical realm and quietly dominating pool events in recent times. When dividing up skaters into competitive categories - pro / masters / legends - Bucky is the unicorn because he is any and all of those. It’s inspiring to see him still pushing the limits every time we skate together. The other day was no exception: switch backside boneless on vert. I can’t begin to explain the level of difficulty on this trick, even though there is only a finite audience that will ever appreciate it. Watch his YouTube channel to get a glimpse of what went into this, and you might understand what I’m trying to convey here. He even inspired me to drop in switch this day.
