@katiecouric : This Memorial Day I’ve been thinking about the many Americans who have sacrificed for our nation. Traveling around the country for eight months was an unforgettable experience for me. I’m so grateful to the people who shared their stories, their struggles and concerns as well as their hopes and dreams for the future. My goal was to help us all understand each other a little bit better. And while we may be different, we really do have much in common... something to think about today as we remember all the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for our great country. #MemorialDay These photos were all taken while we were filming #AmericaInsideOut.
