@katiecouric : I’m sorry to interrupt everyone’s Valentines Day, but this is so important. This is the one year anniversary of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. 17 human beings were killed-14 students and 3 teachers and 17 were wounded. I’m executive producing a documentary called Parkland (@parkland_thedocumentary ) directed by my friend Cheryl at @giganticproductions which is currently in production and will be released later this year. Last summer I interviewed Manny Oliver and his wife Patricia who lost their 17 year old son Joaquin in the massacre.  They have traveled all over the country, as Manny has created murals depicting the carnage caused by gun violence. One hundred people every day. Please say a prayer for the victims of #parkland tonight and all the lives cut tragically short. 💔 #msdstrong #endgunviolence
