@jaime_king : New work with Tyler Shields. My friend who is one of the rare and true artists that not only preserves the history of film but invokes the truth with an unflinching nature. This is our duty as artists now more than ever. We must see all and reflect humanity back to humanity. We must look at the most vile, selfish, shadows inside of us as well as the light, the divine, the willingness to take flight. To deny our shapes or the shadows of what we have done is to deny the responsibility of being able to right the ignorance and be thrust into who and what we are as a society and as Soul’s traversing this planet in a body in this game called life. After this shot I burst into tears as all of the memories I had buried of the trauma of abuse, the innocence that was taken and also the awareness that somehow it was to happen so that I may know others who are survivors and let them know they are never, ever alone.
