@lisa_wilkinson : Whatever your opinion of today’s High Court decision to quash Cardinal George Pell’s conviction over historical child sexual abuse charges, today will be a very difficult day for victims and survivors of child sexual abuse. Particularly for those who are at home alone hearing the verdict. I have seen first hand the crippling struggle that comes when abuse survivors are not heard, or believed, or most tragically, never get to tell their story at all. My heart goes out to them right now and to the friends and families of those who have taken their lives. Please take a moment to think of all of them today, and in the very difficult days ahead.
