@common : I've had many opportunities to go visit people who are incarcerated and one of most important things that I got from them was that they wanted to be heard. They wanted to have a voice. For #NationalVoterRegistrationDay, @ImaginexJustice and I joined local orgs inside LA’s Men’s Central Jail today to go register incarcerated people to vote as part of @ACLU_SoCal’s ongoing Unlock the Vote campaign.
