@kerrywashington : #keepfamiliestogether That’s me. I loved reading & gymnastics & flamenco dance (mostly because of those red high heels we got to wear!) & dollhouses & swimming. And I LOVED my parents. And I still do. With all my heart. I am trying to imagine what the impact on me would have been if I had been ripped from my parents arms, placed in a cage with strangers in a strange land. The trauma being inflicted on these children and families is UNIMAGINABLE. And yet we must TRY. We must not turn away from these atrocities.
