@katiecouric : #FBF to earlier this week in #Cannes. I was there to announce the formation of KCM (Katie Couric Media...how original!) where I will continue to produce high quality, meaningful content for a variety of platforms (including documentaries, digital series, podcasts, scripted shows) and I’m very excited to be collaborating with brands that reflect my values. My first project will be working with @proctergamble, a company that’s been at the forefront of high quality storytelling that’s engaging and enlightening, like “love over bias” and “The Talk”. They are more like short films that help us understand the world and each other. (Links in my bio!) P&G is also committed to gender equality, something we can all cheer for. The extraordinary CMO #MarcPritchard is such a rock star. P&G is also working with the amazing @queenlatifah to create more opportunities for women directors and @Madonnabadger whose breakthrough work continues to challenge stereotypes and is helping to increase the number of women in the creative pipeline. Our friend @milckmusic joined us to sing a song after the panel. My first project out of the gates will be a series called “Getting There” - profiles of cool, accomplished women that I’m co-producing with my friends at @theskimm. Can’t wait to continue to bring interesting, important storytelling to you all and to nurture, elevate and showcase a diverse group of content creators!
