@katiecouric : Women spend their entire lives trying to attain a standard of beauty that’s well, simply unattainable. That’s why I was really happy to hear that @cvspharmacy decided to do something about it. The CVS Beauty Mark indicates photos for beauty products have not been retouched. If the photos are, they have to say they were digitally altered. A year ago, CVS committed to transparency in imagery by the end of 2020. By February 8th (today!!!) nearly 70% of the beauty imagery in all of their locations nationwide have these new labels. I recently joined CVS and beauty brand executives, Dr. Rachel Rodgers, who is an Associate Professor of Applied Psychology at @northeastern, as well as @covergirl Ambassador @ayeshacurry at an event for the Beauty Mark initiative.
