@katiecouric : 19 years ago, I got a colonoscopy on air during the @todayshow to show people how easy, important, and necessary these screenings are. After I did this, there was a 20% increase in the number of people who came in to get colonoscopies - some doctors dubbed it "The Couric Effect." 😅 But in all seriousness, this is something I care about so much, and it is still #coloncancerawarenessmonth so please please please get screened, tell your friends and family to get screened - it saves lives!
