@gabunion : Bout time I give my UCLA Bruins some love. This week’s #Wcw is Katelyn Ohashi (@katelyn_ohashi), a six-time All-American artistic gymnast! She is unstoppable on the floor and a force in her community. Unfortunately, instead of universal praise, Katelyn has also received some hurtful feedback regarding her body image in a field where young women are stereotypically petite. Katelyn responds to such comments by explaining how she understands her self-worth in a new way now, and hopes that other young women will do the same. As an eating disorder survivor, Katelyn stands now for loving her body, and sharing positivity and kindness to all. When she’s not competing in the gym, she spends her time studying, speaking, and encouraging others to love themselves. Keep up the good work, girl! You are sure to go far!
