We'd been married for 40 years, my wife had done the cooking - all I did was the washing up. I was at a complete loss and lost a lot of weight. I realised I had to do some cooking to keep healthy. The Ministry of Food in Bradford invited me to do a cooking course. It's a splendid idea, each week you make a whole meal, then you can sit down and eat it or take it home. Cooking classes have been a great help in rebuilding my life. Now I've learnt to cook, I think more about what one should eat." William Hopkinson #ministryoffood10
