@mattmcgorry : “Emergent Strategy” by @adriennemareebrown # Brown has written a really beautiful book. I encountered some new perspectives and thoughts about activism and organizing that really resonated. I was moved by the proposition that freedom work is also work of the imagination. As I grow as an activist, so does my imagination. But as an actor and storyteller, I often find that many projects are quite constricted into very narrow constructs of imagination.
