@mattmcgorry : “Well, That Escalated Quickly: Memoirs and Mistakes of an Accidental Activist” by Franchesca Ramsey @chescaleigh # I first came across Franchesca’s work when I was just beginning to be involved in social justice. I was immediately drawn to how she was able to break down seemingly complicated concepts to make them understandable, while adeptly using humor in the process. I really enjoyed the book as a look into her life and development as an activist including the nuances and struggles of using social media as a tool for conversations around social justice. I also greatly admire her willingness to admit to her own mistakes along the way.
