@rowanblanchard : There are few artists who have been more impactful on my brain mappings and imagination than Varda, and there are few hand holds that I’ll cherish and remember this tenderly. Agnès Varda is and has been my hero, her films introduced to me cinema as a way of having a conversation with yourself, with your inner child. Watching Varda confront herself and her histories in the many vessels and stories and characters she did has always gifted me such wide eyed, childlike comfort. I’m so sad today! But she gave us so much. How lucky we are to have her shrines eternally. AGNÈS FOREVER ♾ 🕯 💔🖤
