@haylieduff : This may sound rude, and I really don’t mean for it to be...but I’ve gotta be honest. I don’t get super sad when someone I don’t know passes away... not that it’s not terrible news, it is! It’s sad to lose anyone! But if I didn’t know them personally... I don’t know, it just doesn’t seem to make me that upset. But Aretha??! This one really seems to penetrate. So many of my memories are heavily immersed in her songs! Her voice and spirit truly made people FEEL something! Very sad to wake up to this news today and sending all the grateful feels to this golden goddess of soul for all the music she gave & left behind for us. 🌟🎶 #Respect #Aretha
