@tonyhawk : Oct, 1981: I never got a picture published in the original @skateboarder_magazine, but made it in its successor “Action Now” which was basically the first “action sports” mag. @transworldskate just posted a good documentary on the original Skateboarder Magazine years and covers why it meant everything to us at the time.
