@tonyhawk : I’ve been working recently with Mark Mothersbaugh to bring Nick Hornby’s book “Slam” to a live stage show. It has been a fun challenge to incorporate skating into this small setting, and seeing the story come to life thanks to Kyle Jarrow’s vision and Mark’s music has exceeded all expectations. Thanks to La Jolla Playhouse for giving us this workshop opportunity and to the actors & skaters that worked tirelessly over the last two weeks. Next stop: Broadway. Break a leg?
