@vanessalachey : #tbt Baby V. I was 6 in this photo. Today I got Phoenix (3) & Brooklyn’s (5) school photos. I legit sat in my car and cried. Like snotty blow your nose and make weird noises cry. What is happening? All of the days, months and years are flying by. Even though I try my hardest to be present and do everything, I constantly feel like I’m coming up short. I think we all do, to an extent. Then we remind ourselves that we are amazing and doing the best that we can. I Love being a Mommy more than anything in the world, but I also cherish my marriage, friendships & work. Balance is key. Why can’t we have it all? We can! It’s ok to have ups and downs. It’s ok to feel lost. We will get back on track. Don’t be afraid to reach out for help from others, but also don’t ever be afraid to feel! Just like our kids, we have every right to cry and be sad then laugh and get back up again. Life is hard, and I just wanted to say, we are ALL in it together. Smile to a stranger today. You’ll feel better and maybe even make their day. ❤️
