@katiecouric : My friend David Brooks, the @nytimes columnist and best selling author started Weave: The Social Project nine months ago at the @aspeninstitute after he realized how many amazing people at the local level were working to strengthen and unite their communities during an incredibly divisive time in our nation. The weavers are doing incredible work to serve their communities and help create a world in which love and equality are plentiful, not scarce. I am going to be highlighting these men and women for my #WednesdayWomen and #GoodGuys series. First up, is Dylan Tête, an Army combat veteran who is the Executive Director and Founder of Bastion Community of Resilience - an innovative housing solution for returning warriors with traumatic brain injuries in New Orleans. Bastion is a community made up of 19 double family homes with 73 residents that helps incubate meaningful relationships for soldiers who are recovering from the wounds and casualties of war.
