The #notredamecathedral in Paris is burning. The cause is not clear, but officials say it could be linked to renovation work. A major operation is underway to tackle the fire. The cathedral is 850 years old, and is the official seat of the Archbishop of Paris. “Everything is burning. The framework, which dates from the 19th century on one side and the 13th century on the other, there will be nothing left. We have to see if the vault, which protects the cathedral will be affected or not,” said André Finot, a spokesperson for the cathedral.
