My name is Leah and I’m a 2nd grade teacher on the South West side of Chicago. My school is 81% low income and many of my students are 1st or 2nd generation immigrants. I’m want to build up my classroom library because most of my students don’t have many books at home and I want my kids to be able to borrow books and read every night with their families.
