@joshgad : Just started watching #ourplanet on @netflix and was reminded once again of the role we play in the fragility of our coexistence with nature. I took this picture a few weeks ago while flying over Greenland and was awestruck by the breathlessness and scale of its towering ice caps and glaciers which are melting into our oceans at an unprecedented rate. Life has been made easier for us all by fossil fuels. I get it. Even though I drive a hybrid, I fill my car with gas more often than I wish I had to. I’m as dependent on plastic as anyone else. But the more we can think through every choice we make and ask ourselves if there’s an alternative to our actions, the more we may slowly stem the tide of the historic toll we are taking not only on our planet, but our fellow inhabitants. After all, there are approximately 8.7 million species on Earth...but only one gets to decide its fate.
