@sophiabush : Last night I had the great pleasure of seeing the documentary #NotoriousRBG on Ruth Bader Ginsburg. It felt fitting, as midnight bled into this morning, to be looking back on her history demanding that America live up to its Constitutional ideals as dawn rose on #MemorialDay. Many of us wandered through town and discussed what fighting for the moral arc of the universe really means. We marveled at all she’s done. She is a beacon. She is a powerhouse. She has made us better, for all people. On this Memorial Day I salute all the men and women in all walks of service. May each of us, citizens and patriots, walk the path to true justice that this woman has carved out for us. • “America is known as a country that welcomes people to its shores. All kinds of people.
