@vanderjames : I’ll never truly appreciate the myriad things my Mom did for me that dominated her day-to-day: All the sleepless nights, the lunches, the planning, the rides, the laundry, the dirty dishes, the dinners. But what I do deeply appreciate - to this day - is that when I told her (at fifteen years old) I wanted try acting professionally in New York... she saw me. She saw me for who I was, and what I had to offer. And despite knowing how insanely minuscule the odds of success can be in this business... She saw past that and saw ME. And she believed in me. Cheers to all those Moms who endeavor to see their kids for what they truly are... and choose to support them - logic and odds be damned. #HappyMothersDay Mom. I love you.
