@erikachristensen : What an enjoyable thought process I’ve been set on by @americanair, who has started a campaign to support women in entertainment, and sent me this pin, “WOMEN FLY BEYOND”. They asked me who I admire, and there are so many hard-working women I admire from afar, (@alma.harel made a humdinger of an artwork — did you see Honey Boy??) but here are a few I’ve had the pleasure of knowing, in order in which I met them: @sophiabanksc is a director who I admire for her passion. She’s got one kid and one helluva lot of hustle. @rmorrison is — obviously? — the first and only female cinematographer to be nominated for an Oscar. She is unbelievably talented and ridiculously humble. And is normalizing working while pregnant and breastfeeding in an environment that’s not only male-dominant but wherein work days run 16+ hours on the regular @sumnermickey is a bad mother——, a dope actress, a dedicated mother and activist. @the_elle_key is an incredible writer-director who everyone wants to work with and everyone is smart for that! Endless ideas and charm, you can count on her to get shit done. There you have it. #weflybeyond 💙 Thanks for adding your voice to the conversation, @americanair
