@katiecouric : It was such a privilege to spend the morning with Manuel and Patricia Oliver who lost their son Joaquin in the Parkland shooting last February. They are extraordinary people and have channeled their grief into changing gun laws and electing politicians who stand up to the gun lobby. Manuel, a talented artist, has been painting murals across the country to convey his pain and the need for action. We are documenting some of the people left behind and their journeys as they cope with these life-shattering losses. Manny will be painting a mural tomorrow in Queens at Roy Wilkins Park (177th and Baisley Blvd) starting at 2:00pm.
