@sophiabush : When we think about participating in our democracy — and in particular the privilege that it is to vote + to have a say in the course this country will chart — do not forget those who sacrificed, protested, knelt, and marched for the dream + possibility of equality. Those who stood strong in acts of civil disobedience, and who gave all of themselves for progress. Progress they may not have seen. Progress for us, and those to come.
