@vanderjames : #tbt My now 8 year-old in the set of one of my shows... can’t remember which one 🤔 Truth is, I’ve had as many cancelled shows as I have kids. And that’s not even counting the failed pilots before that. Felt like a roller coaster at the time, but now I’ve now come to recognize it as the universe having given me a master class in writing and show running. If any of those shows had run as long as they should/could have, I wouldn’t be nearly as prepared for what I’m doing right now. So, in honor of #donttrustthebitchinapt23, let’s raise an afternoon martini to the roads best not taken (even if you were helplessly riding shotgun and totally second-guessing the route at the time).😌
