Let your kids know your top priority is to keep them safe. 3.) Remind kids of the many grownups, parents, teachers and first responders working to keep them safe. . 🌟WHAT TO DO🌟 1.) Have an evacuation route mapped out and car gassed up. 2.) Make emergency contact cards for your kids— in case, heaven forbid, you are separated. Example in story. 3.) Pack a “go-bag” for your kids— favorite stuffed animal, cozy blanket, emergency contact card, activities (books, games, paper, crayons) in case you need to evacuate. And a family kit that includes non-perishable food, flashlight, medicine, water, baby wipes and hand sanitizer.
