Conociendo la situación de padres con niños pequeños en este difícil periodo de cuarentena, empatizo con aquellos que no cuentan con un espacio exterior o balcón para que sus niños respiren aire puro. Si está permitido salir a pasear perros o a adultos a comprar, habría que pensar en una solución que otorgue este mismo derecho a los niños quienes necesitan del sol y el aire para su salud física y mental. Urgiría al Gobierno a que considere una política que permita a un adulto encargado sacar a un niño a pasear, aunque sea sujeto a las restricciones que los expertos consideren y respetándose las normas de distanciamiento y sanidad. Los niños están siendo verdaderos campeones en este drama social y debemos pensar en su bienestar.

She was born at 4:08pm (ET) coming in at 8.2lbs & 20 inches long. Go Go and mom are doing great. The Daly family wants to send a special shout out to the incredibly brave & selfless medical staff at our hospital in New York and also the many courageous people on the front lines of this dreadful virus. We thank God not only for the safe birth of our daughter, but for their tireless work attending to so many in need. There is so much about life right now that feels out of our control. But one thing we can definitely control is how we deal with this crisis on a day-to-day, human level. We know our health workers are stretched to breaking point, but this photo illustrates another human cost to those who least deserve it - an exhausted Woolworths employee breaking down in tears after copping abuse from panic-buying shoppers, while another shopper tries to comfort her. Heartbreaking. Times are incredibly tough right now, no question, but let’s all look inward to our better angels during this time and be sure that when we come out the other side of all this, we can be proud of all the small moments when we helped out. We absolutely shone with kindness during the bushfire crisis, so we know that as a nation, we can do this! Trying to enjoy this time to rest and do things I never have time to do... but not feeling grounded enough to get my creative flow back...Uncertainty is not a good feeling but I do think the world needed to slow down and be forced to take a deep look within and open our eyes to the way we live as a society...I have been feeling like humanity has been out of control for a while, consumerism, social media, the more is more mentality, constant bombardment of information, people in general have lost the sense of what is truly important..this is why I have always escaped into nature, Voluntary social distance, It has always been my refuge and way to reset bad habits. I also can’t help but feel the pain of what so many people in the world have gone though and continue to go through in a much more extreme way than what we are experiencing now. Where starvation and health issues are normal. So just stop. Stop for a moment to feel gratitude and compassion and kindness. Feel the shift that is happening and let it transform you into a better version of yourself, so that we can be better collectively. Love To you all. C
