Hiking Kilimanjaro was hands down one of the most physically and mentally challenging experiences I’ve ever done. But our bodies and our minds are incredibly powerful. • Mind: Our minds can be either noise or motivation. Having a strong mindset, encouraging yourself that it’s just one step at a time and staying positive is key. Even if you don’t believe it at first, tell yourself encouraging things! “Fake it, till you BECOME it” • Body: Our body is stronger than our mind. There were many times my mind kept telling me, I don’t know if I can take another step, but somehow I took that step... our bodies are more powerful when you Surrender your Mind To Your Body and allow it to support you. • Spirit: Our spirit is our help and guidance, pouring inspiration in to us - the divine, god, angels, universe whatever you believe! • Soul: Our souls are the deep knowing and expression of the challenge and victory. • You don’t have to climb Kilimanjaro to feel like you are doing the most challenging thing you’ve ever done, maybe it’s just waking up and getting out of bed, eating healthy, apologizing for something you did, whatever it may be, I hope these words ignite the possibility that you are stronger than you think! Thanks for being on this journey with us. It was so special and rewarding to finish but more importantly the journey along the way with my family, creating memories and accomplishing it TOGETHER! 🙏🏼🙌🏼✨❤️

Shower time at camp 😂 Spending this time with Marabeth has been so important and special. We didn’t grow up like normal sisters... She moved away at 15, before I moved away at 10, so now we are reconnecting as adults (and have been for the past 10 yrs) and developing our relationship in a different way. Our way. Day 1 down! ✔️ Started at Shira Camp I & ended at Shira Camp II 👉🏼 It has been a dream of mine to climb Kilimanjaro (Tallest Free standing Mountain in the World & highest peak in Africa) for quite some time and of course Brooks and I love traveling and adventuring and creating life long memories. PLEASE READ*** When we visited the Rwanda Genocide Memorial, we were all filled with so many emotions. Learning more about the Rwanda Genocide was absolutely heart breaking and terrifying, but their resolve and forgiveness, and the way they’ve turned their country around is truly remarkable and serves as an incredible example for all of us! @jessgee and I were in tears conversing about how the separation and grouping that was created to define the Rwandans as different from each other, rather than as one, is all too familiar in our own country. Along with many countries around the world right now. We have to start uniting rather than dividing 💔 Rwandans consciously chose and choose everyday that the only way to move forward and to heal is with love and forgiveness. - please learn about the genocide. For Rwandans to do this after the horrific instances that happened to them, is a testament of their most authentic yearning for peace - They came back after only 20yrs stronger and safer than ever before. They teach Love & Peace in all the schools and you can feel it!!! The energy of the city is one of Gratitude and Hope! What an awe-inspiring, heart opening experience. I am forever changed, We ❤️ you Rwanda!!!

Wrapping up Pride Month with a BANG! 🌈 🎉 @conor_mckenzie and I met just by being friends on Instagram, and I quickly discovered he was my spirit human. The beauty of what dance can be is being stripped from her, it’s infuriating and heart wrenching to watch.” Dance is about freedom, about love, connection and passion. There is a difference between coaching and having discipline in your craft and then there is THIS! Using a stick to demonstrate is never necessary. That is a tool used to evoke FEAR!! It’s a disgusting act of power and control that we must shed light on. Today and everyday I am blown away by the beauty of this man. The selfless need to give me what I can’t give myself in the moment is one of your greatest qualities. The last few weeks have been a lot of energy output on my end with this new position on AGT, new developments for Canary House Productions along with the upcoming launch of my new company in the next few months. All these outlets are new and exciting but have required an immense amount of focus and execution, which unfortunately hasn’t left much quality time and energy for my love. I keep saying it’s a season and this won’t always be this way but it’s hard in the moment knowing I want to give more but am physically, emotionally and energetically spent. All this being said, Brooks my love, you have supported and nourished me and our relationship so that we haven’t let our connection slip. You have been so intentional and have fed my spirit and my heart during this time and I couldn’t be more grateful for you! You have been our rock! HOLY CRAP most amazing experience ever❗️❗️❗️These beautiful dolphins welcomed us in such a way, it was almost as if they slowed down so we could keep up. We lost all sensation of having legs, or even feeling like we were swimming, as though they were taking us and keeping us protected in a mystical dolphin vortex. What a day, what a crew, what an inspiring human you are @drjohnamaral!! On Saturday, @drjohnamaral and I hosted one of the most magical events I’ve ever been a part of. The Aether Energy Retreat! We brought a group of people together who are about discovering human potential, and who are already on the path of self discovery and transformation. I created this event mainly so I could introduce these people who inspire me daily to one of my favorite humans on the planet. John has helped me so much throughout my journey of self discovery, and has touched so many lives with the help of his wife @christinaamaral and their Body Centered Leadership program. John’s gift to serve, and the humility he has while doing it is so pure and clean. His authenticity is such a breath of fresh air, especially in LA where this “trendy” world of spirituality can be a bit off-putting when you know its not pure. John is always authentic, and always there to serve. To all of our friends who showed up, I cannot thank you enough for trusting me and going all out at this event, especially since I gave you literally zero information going into it 🤣. You all added so much to the room with your contributions and support. Thank you for helping this event come together so beautifully. Also, can we talk about the amazing food and gift bags for a second?! When @derekhough asked me if I wanted to sit down with learning expert/brain coach/genius @jimkwik, I was like… Duh! Little did I know, as Jim was teaching us about different ways to improve your memory, I had been doing one of them for my whole life! Did you guys know that one of the best brain exercises of all is ballroom dancing?! 🤯 Dancing not only challenges your muscles, but it also challenges your brain! 🧠💪 Exercising in general is amazing for brain health, but dancing is the only activity that actually lowers participants’ risk of dementia. WHAT!! Because you’re engaging in a social activity with a partner and memorizing steps, this results in less stress, depression, and an increased blood flow to the brain… aka a BETTER MEMORY. 💃 The main takeaway that I got from Jim was that it’s not about how smart you are, but about how you are smart. How do you challenge yourself mentally? Thank you thank you thank you @jimkwik for being such an excellent resource and for bringing so much value and insight into the world! Starting the week off right, and one of the ways I do that is by scanning my body. Ever tried it? It’s something I try to do daily, or sometimes multiple times a day depending on what’s going on in my life. It’s the easiest way for me to reconnect with all parts of myself. Here are the steps I follow: 1. Rub your hands together, creating heat and friction. 2. Separate your hands and feel the energy between them. 3. Start at the top of your head and work your way down the body. 4. While floating your hand over your body, concentrate on where you feel a strong connection (for example, could be your heart, your solar plex, or your third eye,). 5. Place a hand on that area and breathe deep in through your nose and out through your mouth. Do this for a minute or so. 6. Now do that body scan again, this time focusing on an area that feels disconnected. 7. Once you find that place, place your hands on the spot and breathe into it, and speak the words “I feel disconnected”. One more thing I like to do during this is make a sound... if the area that feels disconnected isn’t easy to breathe into, make a sound that reflects the discomfort (sound is one of the best healing methods). 8. Breathe into that area for about a minute. 9. Now go back to the part of your body that felt connected and place one hand there. Breathe in through your nose into that spot. On the exhale, place your other hand in the area that felt disconnected and breathe out all of the positive connected air into that space. 10. Do this for a few minutes, or however long feels good. 11. Repeat the body scan and notice a difference in your breath, the peace within, and total connectivity to all parts of you! 😊

Most of the time I dream so big that I can go pretty far out there. I can see 10 years down the road and it’s so clear to me, like it has already happened. This has been a massive source of my achievement and fulfillment in life. When I was a little girl I made all these goals. By the time I’m 12 I’m going to ______! By the time I’m 19 I’m going to ________! By the time I’m 21 I’m going to _____! You get the picture. When I would make those goals, I had already seen the outcome before it happened... and those specific dreams all came to fruition. This Dreaming “so far out there” though also can be overwhelming. Somewhere down the road I got intimidated by dreaming big because I got overwhelmed by the “how” of it all. How am I going to get there? How is that even possible? How will I have time for that? How am I going to get people to see my vision. How am I going to do this all on my own? This year I realized I started playing small (dreaming closer to myself) a few years ago because the dreams never felt attainable. But now, I’ve realized that we limit ourselves when we try to figure out the how instead of already seeing the outcome and focusing on that! (Which is the power of being a kid) So great, I still want to know how... haha so... what I’ve learned to do now is see the outcome of the dream and try to reverse engineer it. Delegation is key and knowing I can’t do everything on my own is also the key. The power is within the people. The more you can collectively come together with the people around you and empower them to be the expert in their field and allow them to dream big, your company/relationships/friendships etc will thrive! I also believe in the power of repetition. Repetition is the mother of all skill. Create rituals that you do everyday to build that muscle and grow that skill. So I encourage you to DREAM BIG, Create RITUALS of REPETITION, and DELEGATE. My greatest fear in life is the feeling of playing small. Knowing that I have dreams so big

The end of the year is a great time to reflect and look back at the choices we’ve made. Taking inventory of ourselves, our emotions, our thoughts and our actions can be extremely powerful. The act of taking “responsibility” for the choices we make, is our greatest strength and actually our SUPER POWER! When we blame others or most of the time blame ourselves, there is a constant feeling of being stuck in a cycle that repeats itself. To be frank, It’s basically the vortex from hell! 🔥🙄 Am I right?! Or am I right?! (Speaking from experience yo) When we take responsibility, we honor and accept our choices and are able to move through the cycle instead of carrying and suppressing the guilt and shame and staying stuck, running on that never ending hamster wheel of Doom! 🐹🎡😳 I invite you to make self-reflection part of your weekly, or even daily practice. It is one of the hardest things to be consistent at, but the reward is worth it.... FREEDOM!

This year has been the most reflective, soul digging and magical experience of my life- so far! 😏 I’ve posted a little about the transformation I’ve been going through this year and have been sharing a lot about the connection I have made with the #divinefeminine #sexualenergy and the elements. I have had so many amazing people/teachers around me supporting and guiding me on my journey. One of those special teachers in particular is one of my dearest friends in the whole world @scottpicard. I owe so much of my growth connecting to the female as a woman to this beautiful soul. He has helped guide me, and countless women and men connect to their power. Their Truth. He also happens to be one of the most compassionate, kind, giving and soulful humans on this planet. Unfortunately, Scott found out earlier this year that he has kidney disease (failure), and has been on dialysis everyday since. It hasn’t been easy! Recently he learned that his kindey’s are further deteriorating, and the need for a kidney transplant is more urgent than ever. Scott is so incredibly strong, but he can’t do this alone. One of HIS lessons he’s going through right now, is all about “receiving”! So, you can imagine how hard it was for him to allow his friends to reach out for help on his behalf, but how could we not?! And I can’t think of a more generous and heartwarming time of year, the holidays, to ask for help. A gofund me page has been set up by a friend to help cover his medical expenses, better his chances for a transplant and help take care of the person who will eventually donate the organ! What is the thought bubble in your own mind? 💭 Is it a positive one? A negative one? Does it do you harm? The thoughts in our head can be super detrimental to our well being, even if they are quiet. If you recognize that it isn’t something that brings you joy, happiness, love or kindness, think of something else and repeat it over and over. Sometimes we aren’t taught how to change those thoughts, and that we are supposed to just naturally think positive thoughts. Well I’m here to tell you that good and bad thoughts creep in and out of my mind daily and it is up to me to decide which one gets to live there! Let yourself feel. Don’t suppress it or think you need to hold it in for the sake of others. One way that allows me to fully express everything that I am feeling is to write. Once I start writing, my emotions, beliefs, thoughts, ideas, all begin to pour out onto the page, and I feel free. So whatever it is that you like to do that makes you feel self expressed, do it! Allow yourself to truly feel. ❤️ And I know for me, there are a lot of emotions to be felt after this week!

INAD is a rare genetic, neurodegenerative disease, otherwise known as “parkinson’s mixed with Alzheimer’s for kids”. Léo Vauclare was diagnosed with this disease at just two years old. I woke up this morning feeling a little defeated. Looking back at where I have been and the “success” I’ve had, and then looking forward to where I want to go and feeling so far away from it. After I acknowledged that, I realized that I wasn’t focusing at all on the present... the now... and the joy, happiness and gratitude that comes from the process! So I felt sorry for myself, I cried, I felt it, and then I did something that I did NOT want to do today... work out! 💪🏼 So I worked out, became present in the moment, and I’ve had so much more appreciation for the experience I’m having RIGHT NOW! Therefore able to let my true self come through and not let this self doubt and fear take over! So I encourage you to have some courage. Don’t let fear stop your progress. Do something that scares the shit out of you today, or just do something that you really don’t want to do, and soak in every moment! 🤗 I know I feel about 10 lbs lighter, not from the workout, but from eliminating the stress and fear I was putting on myself!

My friends Dr. John and Christina Amaral are some of the most beautiful souls that I have ever and probably will ever know in this life and beyond. I’m so fortunate to have been blessed with their friendship and gifts which I first discovered back in 2013. Some of my greatest physical, emotional and energetic healing and divine connections have been through the work and guidance I have done with them. They created a year long program, “Body Centered Leadership”, and have held some of the most special, educational and life changing events. I had worked privately but my first #BCL event was just earlier this year in Lake Tahoe, that I was so fortunate to share with my mother, and has had a massive impact on this incredible year of discovery and transformation. This last week, I was able to share this work with my best friend Maude. We were in the breathtakingly peaceful Assisi, Italy. We were literally in the “City of Peace” in a 13th century church, built directly above a Roman Temple, opening up and expanding ourselves to a whole new level. We learned about St Francis, visited many historical sites and experienced a deep connection with the divine. To say this week was special would be the understatement of the universe. There truly are no words. I’m so inspired by and grateful for this #BCL family. For their pure trust and willingness in striving for constant curiosity and growth. You are an extraordinary group of souls. John and Christina, thank you for your absolute generosity and guidance. Your unconditional love and support is nothing less than pure grace. Be grateful for what you have today and focus on your own path. You are exactly where you need to be. As much as I’m saying this to all of you, I really needed to remind myself of that this week when I, along side 2 other women were auditioning/testing for the same role. It’s hard not to see what the other talented, beautiful and hard working women are bringing to the table, especially when you are pitted against each other to see who “gets the part”. We are all unique and have something very special to offer that is different, not better or worse. The minute you start comparing yourself, you lose your artistry and what makes you YOU! We live in a world today where every image we see, can be a constant reminder of what other people have, look like, believe in, and what we don’t have, what we don’t look like, and what we don’t believe in. So maybe the next time those thoughts start creeping into your head, acknowledge those things in a positive way, be happy for that person, and MOVE ON! We all deserve to celebrate the diversity in all of us and the joy that comes from owning, appreciating, accepting and loving all parts of us. #fbf to my film debut in Burlesque 8 years ago! I remember sliding down those beads like it was yesterday!! It was one of the coolest things I've ever done (and most painful 😂) As a Dancer, it’s just engrained in you to never complain and I remember having burns down my sides, my arms, my legs, and there was absolutely no way I was gonna say anything about it. But I’ll never forget @kristenanniebell saying “This is a closeup of something else, they’re not getting you, you don’t have to do this every take!” Haha Let’s just say I learned a lot on this movie. Day 5 writing challenge 📝☑️ Today I had a love and gratitude for the Lake and all the depth and expansiveness of what goes on inside of her. I’ve been coming to this lake my entire life. My grandparents raised my father here, so it’s also been a generational exchange. I’ve always felt at home here. I think it’s because water is healing, it’s accepting of all, you can play and be a kid, get a tan in the sun, and yet it can also be dark and scary not knowing what lies beneath. Underneath the surface is a thrilling curiosity of all the creatures that live inside her. Some that haven’t been discovered yet. Some that don’t want to be seen. Some that might scare a person that’s wondered if they are real but have been too protective to uncover the beauty of those scary, dark creatures that are so natural and needed for her to survive and thrive. Being on the surface in the chaos of crashing waves, sometimes feels like you can’t catch your breathe, but the deeper you go with the water surrounding you, the calmer it becomes and you can hold your breathe with ease and see more clearly that you are safe in your own space. The lake was also like glass this morning. So still but completely electric. The dark and stillness of the night is for her to recharge and prepare for the day where she holds the space for strangers to play. She can be soft or she can be rough, she can be cold and she can be warm, but at the end of the day, she stays true to herself riding the waves of the storm, never trying to be anything but what she is... Water! I just love the water #waterbaby #cancer♋️

How often do you just write???? I used to write all the time. Most of the time journal style, or concepts and ideas, sometimes I would wake up and write as much of my dream from the night before down as quick as I could. For some reason I haven’t written in a long time. The other day, I woke up really sad and I didn’t know why... instead of just pushing through and changing my state like I usually do, I decided to really feel the emotion of sadness... once I did, I started to cry... uncontrollably... which felt incredible!!! Sometimes I feel like I have to hold myself together for myself, for the people around me and if I don’t I fear the unknown of what might come up. BUT, I’ll tell you this, when I let myself really FEEL the sadness, all these thoughts came up that made me realize I’m not fully expressed if I continue to suppress the “bad” feelings I have and ONLY find the silver lining... So I started to write! It was like a massive flow of creativity and visual metaphors that just started pouring out. (Most of which didn’t make sense but yet made perfect sense). It was as if the fear of my creativity not being good enough, that I haven’t been nurturing said, I’ve had enough of being alone down here in the dark, I’m dying down here, set me free!!! Most of the time we only want to see the positivity and only want to show that too... but that’s only a tiny fragment of who we are, and without the dark there can be no light. So, I know this is sort of backwards from what I usually put out there, but I would encourage you to sit with some of the not so “positive” feelings for a minute (I don’t mean to self indulge) and allow yourself to truly feel... and then write it down, or sing, or dance, or cook or whatever makes you feel self expressed and let it go! Yesterday while traveling from Cusco to Machu Picchu, we stopped at a small village and bought some hand-made poncho’s. What an incredible talent, made entirely from hand, and only with the elements that Mother Nature provides them! They practiced when I went to sleep, they practiced on the boat going over to the ceremony (while @brookslaich and I were on our own), it was hysterical! I believe that families belong together. If you’re upset, sad, angry, outraged, or all of the above about families being separated at the border...PLEASE ACT. There are local protests still happening around the country on June 30th. If you can, donate to causes that are helping these families that have been separated, like @aclu_nationwide or @together.rising…Whatever your political party or beliefs are, I think we should all be able to agree: NOT THIS. Not innocent children. Today an Executive Order was signed to stop parent and child separation at the border. Unfortunately, it doesn’t help the thousands of children that have already been forcibly removed from their families. Last night we celebrated my beautiful friend @anitapatrickson and the launch of @amanustudio! Anita has made this idea come to life and I’m so proud of her for bringing her creativity and passion to this company. @amanustudio is a custom sandal brand where you can choose your design and experience the process of creating a shoe start to finish as their cobblers build your shoes right in front of you in the store, it’s such an amazing experience!! They also focus so much on reducing waste created by mass consumerism and use only what they need to make each design. On top of all of that Amanu donated some of the profits from last night’s party to @loveunited to help us bring clean water to communities in need! This last week I shared an Instagram story right after a day full of auditions. I had put in so much work preparing for those auditions and when I walked out of them I felt so proud! Like everyone else, I have certain things that make me feel insecure, and usually the first thing I think of after an audition is what I could have done better, critiquing parts that weren’t perfect...but this last week I walked out of my last audition and I felt so HAPPY and PROUD of the work I did and all the effort I put into it! After I shared that Instagram story so many of you reached out and told me about your struggles and what you were working on and your comments meant the world to me. Here’s what I want all of us to keep in mind as we get ready to start a new week: keep believing in yourself! Even when it’s you that’s creating the doubt!
